City of Tumwater launches community survey

Residents, business owners asked to weigh in on city services

Posted

The City of Tumwater wants local residents and business owners to weigh in on city services and priorities.

The city launched a community survey on Friday, May, 2, for which it is urging people to "pick up" the phone or use their email to participate.

"The community’s input is an important component of our strategic planning processes. Taking the survey is a great opportunity to share your thoughts and priorities surrounding services," the city said in announcing the survey.

"The city is working with local research firm DHM Research to conduct the survey and you may receive a call, text, and/or email asking you to provide feedback to the City of Tumwater.

"If you receive a text message, it will not come from DHM Research or the City of Tumwater but will come from a partner identifying themselves as “research polls.” If you receive an email, it will have the City of Tumwater logo in the email."

The city added, "If you don’t receive a call or a text asking you to participate in the randomly-selected survey but would like to give feedback, do not worry. A version of the survey will be available for all residents starting on May 14 and continuing through mid-June. Check our website, social media, or subscribe to our monthly newsletter, Tumwater on Tap, to be notified."
