Avanti High School held its graduation on Fri., June 12, 2021 from 1 to 4 p.m.

"Avanti's commencement ceremony each year is a special one because each teacher says something about several graduates (generally each teacher talks about four or five graduates who were enrolled in their classes/subject area)," according to Susan Gifford, Executive Director of Communications and  Community Relations at  Olympia School District.

"Each graduate gets time to speak and share about their high school experience. This year's ceremony was held outdoors next to the Avanti garden just outside the high school building, with proud family members and friends watching on a beautiful sunny day," Gifford added.

Another special tradition each year is that the graduate processional is led by Samba Olywa, a percussion and dance group based in Olympia dedicated to building community through the learning and sharing of Samba and other rhythms.

Congratulations from The JOLT  to every graduate named below.
