A man was arrested for driving under the influence after Olympia police spotted his passing car with only one illuminated headlight, drifting in and out of the road, last Saturday.

Upon rolling down his window for the OPD officer, Javier Roldan Perete, 42, immediately gave off an “odor of alcoholic beverages” with his eyes bloodshot and watery. Two cans of beer were connected to a 6 pack ring on June 12, 2021.

Roldan Perete told the OPD officer that he had only two beers to drink.

Roldan Perete declined a field sobriety test and breath sample.

At the Olympia Jail, Roldan Perete blew a .342 BAC on the Draeger and was booked for driving under the influence.
