Felon Damien Madison, 27, was captured Tuesday afternoon as he attempted to slip across the Nevada–California border in a vehicle, according to a social media post from Thurston County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Sheriff Derek Sanders.
Madison, a 10-time convicted felon wanted on multiple outstanding warrants in Washington, is accused of firing upon a TCSO deputy with an AR-15 during a high-speed car chase on May 8.
Also arrested at the scene was Madison’s mother who was taken into custody for aiding her son’s escape.
Federal and local authorities worked together under the direction of the FBI Criminal Apprehension Team to track Madison’s movements.
As the vehicle tried to cross the border, law enforcement deployed a Grappler tire deflation device while helicopter support maintained visual contact from above. No shots were fired and no authorities were injured.
Madison and his mother are expected to be extradited back to Washington, where he will face new charges including assault on a law enforcement officer, as well as pending felony warrants.

Well done, law enforcement and the FBI!! Imagine, sonny boy being helped by his mommy to commit even more felonys. Put the critter in Walla Walla for a LONG time, ten felonies is ten tooooo many.
Oh, and by the way, DON'T hire the clowns who let that one criminal escape at SeaTac while he was about to be transported by air to face justice. Shackles on both mommy and sonny, and hand cuffs the entire time they're in transit here.

Damien has a way with the ladies in his life. His girlfriend drives his car during the pursuit so he can shoot out the window at the cops. His mommy gives him a ride to flee across several states. Now we're just waiting for the next lady in line, Judge Zipp, to re-release this 10 time violent felon back out on the street with a minuscule bail.
Soft on crime democrats and their judges, while loudly bemoaning "gun violence", love fellas like Damien, as evidenced by their commitment to getting him and his kind back out onto the streets as quickly as possible.

Might be a good idea to watch the Thurston County Jail roster to see when he arrives from his extradition. Then if we make a very large presence in the courtroom for his preliminary appearance, Judge Zipp or Murphy might feel pressured to hold him without bail. It's time to get involved.

In 2023 Judge Zipp released an 18 year old high speed car chase "suspect" without bail the very next day. Suspect is in quotes because it is a fallacy, he was evading sheriff's deputies, that's like proclaiming guilt. I'm sure there are reasons, I can run down a rabbit hole on any subject but having our police waste their time chasing down trouble makers....
