Frost some cookies with a virtual cookie-decorating class

Those looking for something fun to do at home with the kids can register for Lacey's virtual cookie-decorating class. Kits will be provided at Lacey City Hall for take-home use.

LACEY – Decorate cookies at home with the city’s online cookie-decorating class.

All who participate will get a kit containing three sugar cookies, frosting and toppings to finish off each sugary confection. The take-home kits come with instructions to decorate the cookies at home, all provided by May’s Sugar Stop. Each at-home baker will get a video link via email so they can follow along as they decorate their cookies. Class registration closes on Friday, June 26 at 5 p.m. and cookie kits are available to be picked up at Lacey City Hall by the fountain on June 29 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Lacey City Hall is located at 420 College St. SE and the fee is $15 per cookie kit. All those interested can register here. Click on “Virtual Programs” and then “Cookie Kit Class,” then log in or create an account to register for the class. Participants can also register by phone by calling 360-491-0857.
