Deat Land Trust Friends,
On Wednesday, March 31 we will continue work started earlier this month to remove invasive English Ivy from our Red Salmon Creek Protected Area near Dupont.
English Ivy is an invasive plant that is difficult to control. Stem or root fragments on the ground can resprout to grow a new plant, so it can spread very easily. It can even resprout if a fragment has been washed downriver. Controlling invasive English Ivy at Red Salmon Creek is a long-term effort. Join us next week to help us move closer to ridding this area of the Nisqually River Watershed of this invasive weed.
Thank you for helping the Nisqually Watershed!
