The Lacey City Council will return to in-person meetings as the government continues to ease COVID-19 restrictions.

As announced on the city’s website, community members can now remotely or physically attend the Council meeting on March 24, Thursday.

The City Council will convene in the Council Chambers at Lacey City Hall, 420 College Street SE.

The city’s  YouTube channel posted a video on Tuesday that provided a sneak peek of the Council Chambers, welcoming the community back to the physical venue.

The public may continue to watch council meetings and work sessions remotely via the city’s Facebook and YouTube accounts. The meetings will also be streamed live on cable channel 3 by Thurston Community Media.

The public may still provide verbal or written public comments on items not on the agenda. Oral public comments may be provided remotely via Zoom or in person.

Lacey City Council meetings happen every first and third Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. The Council also convenes for a work session every second and fourth Thursday.

Editor’s Note: Calendar dates and times of all public meetings of Lacey City Council and Lacey committees are generally available in The JOLT’s Calendar
