Quotable

My daughter thought that the saying was "Half fast" and it meant doing something and not really trying when it is in fact not that. It made it better that she doesn't cuss either. (Dad) "He's not my boyfriend!!" (Bonus mom)

Favorites Favorite teacher: Professor Salcedo who taught Mythic Image at SPSCC. And favorite class was English 101/ World Religions that she took at SPSCC because it really opened her eyes.

A story When she went to her monthly RSP and while she was in formation when a Sergeant Major called her out in front of all of the other soldiers. When running out of formation she described that her heart was pounding and she was sure that she was in a lot of trouble, she was especially afraid because of how high ranked the Sergeant was that was addressing her. When she ran up she was actually getting the highest score out of all of the soldiers for the Army Physical Fitness Test.

Highlights Some of thousands are her team and her winning the State Championships, running her first half marathon, all of her sleepovers with her best friend Magda, learning to cook and to drive a stick (what an experience lol), hanging out with her little sister Reece, quoting pretty much every episode of The Office, when she drank coffee for the first and last time (didn't go so well lol), doing the first "crazy" thing to her hair-feathers, and the countless hours of laughing.

Jobs She worked at My Yummy House Candle shop, babysat, and is a part of the Army National Guard.

Etc She drives a stick shift and has attempted to teach her best friend. She is also a very picky eater and has been completely plant based for a while now, she loves it.

Looking forward She is going to Army Basic Training this summer through the end of November and when she comes back she is going to Washington State University. There she will contract into ROTC along with being in the National Guard and get her bachelors in Criminology/ Criminal Justice. After that she is planning on transferring to be an officer in the Army.

Most proud of Lilly was clumsy, she tripped over her own feet and spilled drinks and broke dishes regularly. When she told us that she was going to try out for dance, it was difficult not to laugh. She made the team, but did not make it it in the pom routine. She was devastated. We encouraged her to keep working hard and keep doing her best. One of the girls suffered a concussion and she got a chance to fill in. She did so well she stayed in the routine and became one of the strongest dancers on the team.
