Make your own Arduino Handheld Game!

Learn Arduino Coding through game design. During this 6 hour class split over two Saturdays, we will learn the basics of Arduino (C++) programming while writing games for a credit card sized system. We will work with variables, read inputs from buttons, and draw graphics on the screen.

Day 1:
• Install Libraries
• Install Board Drivers
• Upload files to Board
• Simple Screen Functions & Making maps and sprites
• Data types and variables

Day 2:
• Program control (if/else) & Loops (for/while)
• Game Design and Programming Walk Throughs

Please bring your own laptop computer for both days. Windows recommended.

Attendees should download 1.8.xx (not RC 2.xx) software ahead of time from: https://www.arduino.cc/en/

NOTE: This is a two-day class over two weekends, 7/16 and 7/23, 1pm-4 pm each day. Your ticket purchase covers both days. Ticket includes all electronics and parts to complete one project.

Must be 12 years or older to attend. Children between the age of 12 and 17 require a legal guardian to be present. The guardian is not expected to attend or participate in the class.
