The Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council (PacMtn) announced that it launched the "Opportunity Begins Here" campaign on Tuesday, Jan. 7, to help connect job seekers, employers and community partners in the Pacific Mountain Region.

The campaign aims to help job seekers with clear pathways for stable and high-wage careers while helping employers fill workplace gaps. The campaign targets talents and businesses in Thurston, Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason and Pacific counties.

For job seekers, the campaign’s website contains resources to help them find job opportunities and get employed.

The website features a calendar of workshop and hiring events, job searching tips, veteran resources, information about in demand jobs and tools to discover new career opportunities that match one’s skills.

According to the website, PacMtn offers pathways to careers in food production, forestry, health care, specialty manufacturing and logistics.

For employers, the website includes resources on finding talents, employee development, workforce retention and other business solution resources.

PacMtn invites the community to check worksourcepacmtn.org/opportunity-begins-here for more details and to follow them on social media for upcoming events, training programs and job openings.
