Olympia-based business led by 16-Year-Old CEO and soapmaker celebrates success

OLYMPIA –– After a successful first quarter of online sales of its luxury handmade soaps, NRB’s Beauty announced today it will celebrate with two special pop-up shops in West Olympia on July 25 and Aug. 8.

“The pop-up shop events will connect us with local customers who have quickly embraced our products and enabled us to exceed our wildest expectations for our first quarter in business,” said Naomi Barer, CEO of NRB’s Beauty. “We’re taking the opportunity to thank local customers by offering fan favorites and special limited editions not available online without the need to pay shipping fees.”

The pop-up shops will be located outside at 3835 Cooper Point Road NW, Olympia, Wash. 98502 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 25 and Aug. 8. Barer, a 16-year-old who will be a junior at Capital High School, established NRB’s Beauty in March this year after producing and selling her uniquely-formulated soaps under the brand for more than six years at regional craft fairs. The company launched national online sales based on the increased need for effective, gentle, skin-loving soaps in the COVID-19 era.

“Washing hands frequently is now the rule, not the exception,” said Barer. “Those with sensitive skin have found they need a far more gentle, natural soap to keep hands healthy. Using smile-inducing soaps in entertaining shapes and scents simply makes hand washing fun, especially for children.”

NRB’s Beauty is an Olympia, Wash.-based company manufacturing and selling luxury handmade bath and body products. Blending high quality and gentle ingredients into fresh, luxury handcrafted products, NRB's Beauty makes healthy and clean bodies accessible for all skin types. Barer founded NRB’s Beauty after making soap as a hobby when she was 10 years old.
