Thurston County Sheriff's Office

On 12/27/21 at 11:40 a.m. in the 9700 block of Bridge Rd SE, Sheriff's deputies arrested Dennis Joseph Butler, 48, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.

On 12/27/21 at 4:52 p.m. in the 18100 block of Klamath Dr SW, Sheriff's deputies arrested James Paul Deguise, 22, on suspicion of violating a criminal harassment no-contact order.

On 12/28/21 at 12:59 a.m. in the 1400 block of 83rd Ave SW, Sheriff's deputies arrested Casey Michael Jones, 43, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.

On 12/28/21 at 2:11 a.m. in the 23300 block of Bluewater Dr SE, Sheriff's deputies arrested Joe Allan Morgan, 38, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.

Lacey Police Department

 On 12/27/21 at 3:14 a.m. in the 4400 block of 6th Ave, police arrested David Rodney Greene, 51, on suspicion of trespassing in the first degree.

On 12/27/21 at 8:33 p.m. in the 5500 block of College Glen Loop SE, police arrested Matthew N Harris, 19, on suspicion of malicious mischief.

Olympia Police Department

On 12/27/21 at 2:54 in the 400 block of Sleater Kinney Rd SE, police arrested David Lee Buchmann, 34, for an out-of-town warrant and on suspicion of 1) driving with a suspended license, 2) violation of an ignition interlock agreement and 3) failure to transfer title within 45 days.

On 12/27/21 at 4:00 p.m. in the 900 block of Plum St SE, police arrested Kenneth Michael Stenek, 36, on suspicion of 1) theft – shoplifting and 2) resisting arrest.

On 12/27/21 at 10:00 p.m. in the 900 block of Plume St SE, police arrested Racheem Demetrius V Hamilton, 46, on suspicion of failure to appear.

On 12/27/21 at 10:34 p.m. in the 3000 block of Pacific Ave SE, police arrested Glaze, L Welch, 23, on suspicion of assault in the third degree.

An arrest does not mean a person is guilty of the crime of which they are accused. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

    It would be good to know what assault the third degree and assault and the fourth degree mean. An article explaining these charges would be really good
