Police seek help finding armed robbery suspect

A man wielding a handgun robbed a Tumwater 7-Eleven convenience store in the early morning hours Saturday.

The Tumwater Police Department is now seeking any information the public might have on the incident or the suspect involved.

According to a TPD press release, at 4:45 a.m. Saturday, a man entered the 7/11 on Crosby Boulevard in Tumwater. The man had a silver handgun with a black grip. The suspect was described as a man with a light-brown complexion, wearing a face mask, a forest green and black North Face jacket, dark pants and a Detroit Tigers ball cap. He also wore tennis shoes, a wedding ring and had a white shirt sleeve pulled over his hand.

The man robbed a store employee at gunpoint, left the store and got in the passenger side of a black four-door sedan. The vehicle was last seen getting onto southbound Highway 101.
