I am writing on behalf of the Roundtable of Thurston County to express our support and endorsement for the four Thurston County public school replacement technology and capital facilities levies that are on the February 8, 2022 ballot

The Roundtable of Thurston County is a non-profit organization that exists to have a positive effect on the educational, cultural, and economic vitality of the region. The Roundtable, sometimes referred to as the “business roundtable”, is comprised of 40 experienced leaders from the private, public, and non-profit sectors.  The Roundtable believes that strong schools are the cornerstones for achieving the vibrant and resilient community we all seek.

Approving the Olympia, Tumwater, Tenino, and Griffin replacement levies will help the region sustain improved graduation rates, aid in workforce development, and continue to support facilities and operations essential to achieving the goals we have for our children, families, and communities. We can think of no better way to support our community than to express our strong endorsement for the ballot measure.

Sincerely,

Pat Rants, Treasurer, The Roundtable of Thurston County
