Join the Estuarium for a walk around downtown Olympia as all eye the sky for the various birds that call the Puget Sound home! The walk will take you through a number of sites downtown, stopping along the way to observe how birds have adapted to live in urban areas. The walk will be 2 hours and cover approximately 2 miles so don't forget some comfortable walking shoes and your binoculars. Every bird walk will be a unique experience, you may see Killdeers, Buffleheads, Great Blue Herons, or even an Osprey. The Bird Walk tour also includes admission to the Estuarium facility.

The Estuarium's Bird Walk tours are a recurring event that will take place every other 4th Sunday of the month. Alternate months will have a Sea Stroll walking tour that explores the history of Olympia's changing shoreline. The Estuarium's walking tour season runs from February to October.
