Wrap up this week with some weekend fun in Thurston County.

First Friday Night, Friday, Feb. 7, 4-8 p.m. 
Enjoy the $1 admission exhibits, activities and guests. Free admission if you reserve a dental health screening. Activities include a free dental screening (reservations required), a meet and greet Amazon of Olympia as Captain Carter, exploring prehistoric animal teeth with Timberland Regional Library, water-coloring whales and whale teeth, and a free book giveaway. Wine chocolate and bingo, Friday, Feb. 7, 5-8 p.m. 
The Woman's Club of Olympia is holding a Wine Chocolate and Bingo event at The Abigail Stuart House. There will be prize baskets for bingo winners. Enjoy the wines and refreshments, and help the scholarship committee raise funds for local scholarships. Click this link for more details. 

Beaded Viking Weave, Saturday, Feb. 8, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Viking Wire Weave is a technique that consists of weaving (or knitting) a wire around a tubular shape. The finished product can be made into jewelry and other decorative items. Come learn to add beads directly to the weave or threaded inside to provide a peek-a-boo view of something shiny inside. My Body My Power Teen Camp, Saturday, Feb. 8, 12-5 p.m.  
This day camp includes arts and crafts, meditation, new friendships and lots of fun, plus organic food. Click this link for more details. 

Workshop for dancers, Saturday, Feb. 8, 1-3 p.m.  
Samba Olywa is presenting a second workshop for dancers on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 1-3 pm. The guest instructor will be Donna “DonnaMation” Pongetti. All are welcome at this workshop, and no preregistration is necessary. Click this link for more details. 

 Heartsparkle Players 'For the Love of Trees' fundraiser, Saturday, Feb. 8, 7-8:30 p.m. 

Come to an evening of creativity and laughter with Olympia's own Playback Theatre Ensemble, Heartsparkle Players. They welcome stories on the theme "For the Love of Trees". This serves as a fundraiser for the next "Dance to the Music of the Forest" hosted by Thurston Friends of Trees, an action group of REConnect working to protect trees in Thurston County.
