Wild Grief Virtual Campfire

Posted by WildGrief

Local non-profit Wild Grief invites the Thurston County community to gather with us around a virtual campfire on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 6:30-8PM.

Join us for this free event to be in community with others who welcome and honor grief, acknowledge the land we are on, explore how we are held by nature through difficult times, and learn how you can be part of Wild Grief’s work.
Program from 6:30-7:30 with Optional Grief Share from 7:30-8.

Register at https://wildgrief.org/events/wild-grief-virtual-campfire by November 4th to receive a fun campfire kit in the mail.

This event is happening during our annual Give Local Fundraising Campaign, hosted by the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound. Our goal is to raise $15,000 during Give Local this year to support us in developing and launching our new Family Journey Camp-Out for grieving families in Summer of 2022.

About Wild Grief
Wild Grief programs directly support people who are experiencing one of the most challenging moments of their lives- navigating the rocky terrain of grief after the death of a loved one. At Wild Grief, our mission is to facilitate peer groups for teens, young adults, and families who are grieving a death by creating the space for sharing, connection and healing outdoors. We do this because we believe in the healing power of nature, the importance of community, and the need to acknowledge the impact of death on our lives. Our vision is a vital, resilient and connected community with a healthy response to death.
