South of the stuccoed walls of Lincoln Elementary attached to a No Parking sign is a white unassuming box. If it weren't for the clear black label of "FREE BOOKS", one might think the box is off limits to all but city personnel. Open the box, however, and you will see that, indeed, the box contains no wiring; rather, it contains free books.

Book examples:

  • From Stress to Strength  by Robert Eliot
  • 1001 Albums to Hear Before You Die by Robert Dimery
  • Large Print Word Hunt  by Anonymous
