I've been tracking the myriad issues at the Port of Olympia for several years. Many of them relate to the ineptitude of Downing, McGregor, and in the last couple of years, Gibbony. Firing Sam Gibbony would be a good start to resolving all the issues. She seems to have little problem implementing controversial HR policies or initiating controversial land uses on Port property but the union initiative being implemented to protect workers from her cannot seem to gain traction. Fire her now and sort the rest out over time.
