Proponents of establishing a new Regional Fire Authority (RFA) claim that more money is needed for things like salaries and equipment reserves. And they say that a new local government (RFA) is the way to do that. But the cities can do that now. We don't need another bunch of elected officials and more administrative overhead. Just do it.
