I agree with Mr. Monk that the mining for the materials for batteries is a harmful process. But so is everything related to fossil fuels. I’m not sure why the statement EV s are a huge problem in themselves….how are they worse than what we have?
As far as doing research, the scientific community is in almost total agreement regarding climate change. It seems to be the deniers that are in hysteria. And how can there be no climate change from the atmosphere? That is the air we breathe that we are pumping huge amounts of pollutants into, natural and human made…atmospheric carbon dioxide and other pollutants have increased exponentially due to humanity….no argument that the world has had different epochs of cold and hot temperatures….but our current existence is in danger because of our choices. Carbon dioxide itself isn’t bad, but the amount and it’s effects can be and are.
I like the suggestion of learn science and think for yourself. I am in total agreement there.
