Perhaps if you hadn't WASTED so much money on things like carpeting in the classrooms (so a dropped pencil doesn't disrupt the other students?!?) - I didn't have carpeting in my schools and I made it through all twelve grades without it. Or how about all of the other frills and gewgaws that you've added to the various schools (ESPECIALLY the high schools)?!? That money could have gone to keep schools open, ESPECIALLY schools with a lot of low-income students in them. What? You didn't think we as parents and grandparents would figure that out? Well guess what, buster; we did! And I for one will NOT sit on my hands while you force my grandchildren to switch schools just so you have money for that new coffee maker in the teacher's lounger or carpeting in the classroom! I say enough is enough!! I say we parents and grandparents mutiny!!!!!!!
