David Ross's piece is right on! We who watch the Seattle TV news have been treated to an on-going story about a homeless camp on Seattle School property and the City of Seattle telling the School administration to take care of the problem themselves because it's not on "City" property. I wonder how many private property owners have considered what response they might get from the City of Seattle if the homeless started homesteading private pieces of property? Looks like private action might be the only option for us all. It should be no surprise that folks are arming up in droves, since they can no longer trust government to protect them.
