Does anyone besides me find it acutely ironic that King County to our north, named for Martin Luther King, Jr. since 1986 and the most populous in WA and the 13th most populous in the U.S., is part of a state named for a slaveowner? Where's the outrage? Where's the push to name Washington anything other than Washington?

Have you ever noticed that if Gov. Inslee was to remove his glasses and wear a wig he'd closely resemble Washington on the state seal?
