2021 Virtual Conservation Celebration and Auction

Posted

Virtual Conservation Celebration – Gather with us virtually for an evening hosted by Yelm Mayor and Former Board President JW Foster where you'll hear firsthand from our Executive Director Jeanette Dorner about recent accomplishments of the Land Trust and news on what's ahead.

You'll also get to hear from our special guest speakers: Nisqually Tribal Chairman Willie Frank III and Nisqually Tribal Council Member Hanford McCloud, Washington State Representative JT Wilcox, and Lieutenant Governor Denny Heck. They will share about the recent passage of a bill to put a statue of Billy Frank Jr. in the Statuary Hall in DC, and how the work of the Nisqually Land Trust is part of Billy’s living legacy.

Online Auction – Stay home and healthy and bid on some exciting items while supporting the Land Trust's environmental protection work. Our virtual auction will open on May 29 and close on June 6. Stay tuned for more details and a link to the auction page.
