The event is composed of a conference and workshop.
The conference is an outreach effort to encourage young ladies to enroll in STEAM courses. It is offered in accordance with Federal GEPA standards and is designed to be gender inclusive.
Goals:
- To increase young women's interest in Science, Technology,
Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) through positive hands-on experiences
- To foster awareness of the diversity of career opportunities for women in STEAM-related fields
- To provide an opportunity to meet female role models who
are working In STEAM fields
Meanwhile, the series of hands-on workshops will provide participants with an opportunity to practice science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics using interactive and fun approaches. The participants has an option to choose five (5) workshops from the list below. They will be assigned to two (2) of those five choices subject to availability.
