A Night of Elvis

Featuring: Robbie Dee's Tribute to Elvis

Posted

Robbie Dee, a Seattle-based Elvis tribute artist, and impersonator, first became a fan of Elvis when he was a child growing up in Edmonds, Washington, and saw the movie "Blue Hawaii."

Robbie quickly started acquiring Elvis recordings and singing along. He would fantasize about playing this music, which he adored, in front of an audience.

Robbie didn't perform on stage for the first time until he was 27 years old. At a karaoke night, Robbie sang "Viva Las Vegas" after some convincing from pals. "Elvis, Elvis!" screams from the crowd sent Robbie into a frenzy.
