An alleged drug dealer out on bail was arrested three months after another set of charges.

Thurston County Narcotics Task Force (TNT) arrested Waylan R. Graves of Oakville June 2023 after he was caught with thousands of blue pills suspected to contain fentanyl, over a quarter pound of methamphetamine, and three firearms.

The suspect was booked in Thurston County Jail but was able to post bail of $30,000.

Shortly after posting bail, Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET) received information indicating that Graves continued with his illegal drug activities.

Between July 1st and September 20, members of JNET conducted surveillance on Graves as he engaged in apparent drug deals in both Centralia and Chehalis.

Graves was arrested again on September 20 in Chehalis by JNET detectives with assistance from TNT detectives, according to a Centralia Police social media post.

Pip, a patrol service dog for JNET, discovered illegal drugs in Graves' car during the arrest.

The K9 found a significant haul of illicit drugs, including approximately “4700 blue pills suspected to contain fentanyl, 27 grams of suspected fentanyl powder. 288 grams of methamphetamine, 26 grams of suspected heroin powder, and dozens of Xanax pills,” the incident report stated.

The suspect has been transported to Lewis County Jail and is currently being held on a $1,000,000 bail for multiple charges including possession with intent to deliver – fentanyl, possession with intent to deliver – heroin, and possession with intent to deliver – methamphetamine.

Investigations are still ongoing, but JNET anticipates more arrests to come soon after authorities discovered a number of local accomplices and co-conspirators.

Anyone with information on this case is encouraged to call Lewis County Communications at (360) 740-1105 or Centralia Police Department at (360) 330-7680, according to the narcotics task force.
