Good job TCSO! It looks like there will be more presents for families at Christmas.

Another good reason to drive the professional bums out of Thurston County instead of enabling them.

In these instances pix of the perp should be posted so we ALL know who to look out for. Include their vehicle as well. A lot of this goes on due to not sharing information! We need to be better!

Package theft is far more than just stealing a package off someone's porch. It's also trespassing. These thieves are pros. I've seen spots in Tumwater where they take their stolen packages, rip them open and just leave them as trash if it's not what they want. For instance, last week I saw a package that had been opened and left behind the Safeway in Tumwater (on Capitol) that had a pair of children's rubber boots...complete with duckies. What do they do with the loot?

And TCSO..........I want names. Pictures of the thief. He needs to be in jail. I used to live in Saudi Arabia, where the first time a thief was caught, they cut off his right hand. The next time, they cut off his head. There were severe consequences for their crimes. We need something similar. Maybe not cutting off one's head, but cutting off a hand? I can see that. Because that's the problem, not enough jail space so these ''''victimless'' crimes are let go.
