The 2026 Southwest Washington Juried Exhibition will run from July 6 to Aug. 27 at the Leonor R. Fuller Gallery, with an opening reception on July 9 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Allison Hyde, an artist, teacher, gallery director and curator, will serve as the guest juror for this year's annual exhibit.
The Leonor R. Fuller Gallery, located at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts on the South Puget Sound Community College Olympia Campus, is organizing the exhibit.
“Artists working in all media and residing in Clark, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, Skamania, Thurston, or Wahkiakum counties are invited to submit an entry for consideration,” the gallery wrote in a news release.
Hyde lives and works in Washington, bringing professional experience as the Arts Program Supervisor for the City of Auburn, where she oversees visual and public art initiatives.
“Hyde has curated exhibitions for the City of Auburn, Tacoma’s Gallery 110, and the LaVerne Krause Gallery, and currently serves on the Curator’s Roster for the Washington State Arts Commission,” said the Fuller gallery in the news release.
Hyde also held previous roles with the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, Tacoma Art Museum and the University of Oregon, where she was the LaVerne Krause Gallery Director.
