Drafted plans for Armory open for public comment

Olympia will host a presentation on its plans for the Armory Saturday, October 22, at 2 p.m.

The draft plan is a result of over a year of concept design involving over 1,500 direct participants and 4,500 web visitors, according to the city’s press release.

“We're excited to share an Armory Creative Campus Concept Design and Operations Draft Plan with the community,” said Olympia.

Community members can also get a digital copy of the plans and leave a comment.

Acquired from the Washington State National Guard on February 19 earlier this year, the Armory is being managed by Olympia’s Park, Art & Recreation Department and is planned to be used as a culture and arts center by the city.
