Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration

May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month.

The month-long celebration is a chance to celebrate the diversity of cultures and to acknowledge the remarkable contributions of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders.

Throughout America’s history, they have represented the story of who we are as Americans and embodied the truth that our diversity is our strength as a nation!

The Asian Pacific Islander Coalition of South Puget Sound, in partnership with the City of Olympia, APCC, and local community organizations, is hosting a day-long event in honor of AANHPI Heritage Month.

There will be performances, food vendors, arts, crafts, resource/information tables, workshops, and free activities for the entire family.

AANHPI Heritage Celebration on May 24, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Evergreen State College Long House/House of Welcome.

The event is free and open to all.
