In the past 30 days, a transient woman has been in contact with law enforcement four times, three times placed in jail for her actions.

Wendy Adkins, 58, is a transient who was booked into the Olympia Jail for assault yesterday, May 5, for assaulting an emergency room security officer after she was discharged from Providence St. Peter Hospital.  She is accused of behaving in a disorderly manner, yelling and flailing her arms. As the security guard escorted her off of the property, she punched him in the chest with her fist.

Prior to the events at the hospital, Adkins’ past 30 days have included three more incidents.

April 11 – Firestone in Lacey

On Sunday, April 11, she alleges that she was attacked by an intoxicated transient man at the Firestone store on Sleater Kinney Road.  That man, Maximus Wolcott, was arrested and booked for assault.

April 12 – Firestone in Lacey

On Monday, April 12, Lacey Police were called to deal with Adkins, who was back at the Firestone property. She was accused of harassing customers, and had her possessions in several shopping carts around the property. Adkins was given a Lacey Police Department Trespass Warning document notifying her that she was prohibited from entering the “premise” [sic].

She was booked into the Nisqually Jail for trespassing second degree.

April 30 – Arby’s in Lacey

On Friday, April 30, Adkins was arrested again for trespassing at the Arby’s parking lot after being asked to leave by a security guard several times. When Lacey Police contacted her, she told them that she “forgot” about a previous trespass citation, and did not want to talk further.

Adkins was booked into the Nisqually Jail again.

Five days later, she would be incarcerated again after allegedly assaulting a security officer at St. Peters’ Hospital.
