Jade Candelaria, a freshman at Avanti High School in Olympia, designed the theme and logo for the upcoming 2025 Capital Lakefair, the Olympia School District (OSD) said in a web post.
Candelaria submitted a hand-drawn concept to the committee, which, after feedback and refinement, was chosen as the final design for this year’s festival.
“Her creativity truly captures the spirit of a "Roaring Good Time," and we can’t wait to see more of her amazing work in the future! Keep an eye on this rising artist!” the district’s post stated.
Capital Lakefair’s post stated that from ideas in mind, Jade took the concepts put them down on paper, and moved them to computer-adapted art.
“Jade was able to take the suggestions and even made it better. Jade is a student to look out for in the future,” the post states.
This year’s Lakefair Week 2025 is from July 16-20.
