The City of Lacey is soliciting bids for the replacement of Lift Station 6, a wastewater lift station on 32nd Court SE.
The project covers the demolition of an existing wet pit and dry pit lift station at 5611 32nd Court SE, as well as the construction of a submersible station.
The new facility would convert an existing overflow structure into a wet well and include a valve vault, control panel with awning, standby generator and perimeter fencing.
Associated utility work includes approximately 510 linear feet of 6-inch water main, 620 linear feet of 4-inch sewer force main and 45 linear feet of 8-inch storm drain along 32nd Court SE.
The scope also covers wet well and manhole coatings, catch basins, pavement and lawn restoration, and water meter installation. Construction is estimated to cost between $2 million and $2.5 million.
Sealed bids are due by 2:30 p.m. on April 8 at Lacey City Hall, 420 College St. SE. City staffers will open bids publicly in person and via YouTube livestream.
A nonmandatory prebid conference is also scheduled at the project site for 10 a.m. on March 31.
