Bus pad work to impact streets in east side of Olympia

The installation of bus pads for Intercity Transit is going to impact traffic in an east side neighborhood in Olympia.

The work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 1, and continue through Tuesday, July 14. The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at McCormick and Boundary streets in between 4th and 5th avenues.

"Streets will reopen at the end of each workday," said the City of Olympia Public Works Department in a contruction and traffic alert on Tuesday, June 30. "Minor delays are expected, and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes."
