In response to this Saturday’s Toy Run, Intercity Transit (ITA) advises commuters that several bus routes will be suspended to accommodate the bikers’ route.
The Olympia Toy Run is an annual activity, now in its 45th year, where bikers get together to collect funds and toys to be given to children from low-income families every Christmas.
According to ITA’s press release, Routes 12, 13, 21, 41, 45, 47, 48, 60, 62A, 62B, 64, 66, 94, and 620 will be closed from 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., with Route 12 detoured from the start of the day’s service until 5 pm.
Commuters may visit ITA’s website or call 360-786-1881 to see which routes are canceled or suspended.
