The City of Lacey is looking to fill two vacancies on the planning commission.
Each vacancy is a first-term position and expires on Jan. 2, 2029, said the city in announcement about the vacancies.
The applicant residency requirements for each position are:
"The nine-member Lacey Planning Commission develops recommendations to the Lacey City Council related to long-range comprehensive planning goals and policies in Lacey," the city said.
The planning commission meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, at 6 p.m., Lacey City Hall, 420 College St. SE.
City advisory board members are eligible for a $50 stipend per meeting, up to $500 per year.
"This aims to offset expenses for participating on an advisory board, such as child care coverage during meetings, transportation to and from meetings, internet access for meetings, and other direct financial impacts," the city said.
