The City of Lacey would like residents and business owners to share their thoughts on how it manages stormwater by taking a short, online survey.
The survey is available here through Monday, April 20. Public feedback will help guide priorities for future stormwater-related projects and improvements, said the City of Lacey in announcing the survey.
What is stormwater?
Stormwater is rainwater that flows over hard surfaces such as roads, sidewalks, and parking lots and into storm drains, creeks, and lakes.
As it travels, stormwater can collect pollutants — including oil, pet waste, trash and yard debris — that may ultimately enter and impact local waterways.
