Clark De Leon, age 76, passed away peacefully on Dec. 24, 2025, in Lacey, Washington.
Clark was born on April 12, 1949, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Marcus Olmos De Leon and Gloria Rivera Ortiz, both of whom preceded him in death. He carried with him the strength and independence shaped by his early years and lived a life marked by creativity, curiosity, and a hands-on love for the world around him.
Clark was a skilled artist with a natural eye for detail and beauty. He found joy in working with his hands; whether fixing things, creating art, or tackling a project simply because it needed doing. He loved the freedom of motorcycle riding, the peace of the outdoors, and the simple pleasure of camping. When indoors, he could often be found watching football, enjoying the competition and camaraderie of the game.
Throughout his working life, Clark was known for his reliability and strong work ethic. He worked in the logging industry for Weyerhaeuser, later served as a clerk with the Department of Social and Health Services, and eventually became a fuel truck driver with Kenan Advantage Group. No matter the role, Clark took pride in his work and the responsibility entrusted to him.
Clark’s life was also shaped by deep family ties. He was first married to Karen Taylor, with whom he had two children, Toni Rae and Jeremiah. He later married Kristi Lein, and together they welcomed a son, Marcus De Leon. In his final marriage to Diane Woodley, Clark embraced a blended family, becoming a loving father to Angel De Leon and a devoted stepfather to Jessica Stevens.
He is survived by his children Toni Rae, Jeremiah, Marcus, and Angel; his step-daughter Jessica; and his siblings Cynthia Longnecker, Patricia Eddy, and Charles Longnecker Jr. He will be remembered as a man who valued independence, creativity, and time spent with those he loved.
Clark’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy lives on in his art, his family, and the many memories shared with friends and loved ones.
