Co-Creating Art with Nature

Posted by NatalieJoost

Visit the Squaxin Park for a creative outdoor experience using only nature’s cast-offs—leaves, pine cones, stones, and sticks—to craft temporary works of art.

Inspired by the Buddhist practice of creating and letting go of sand mandalas, you will leave your creations behind as an act of non-attachment.

Bring a camera to capture your artwork, as nothing will be taken home. Together, you will celebrate the beauty of both the natural world and your own imagination. Instructor: Lynn Fitz-Hugh, Thurston Friends of Trees
