Thurston County is gathering proposals for a comprehensive stormwater program study for its storm and surface water utility.
Thurston’s Senior Water Resources Engineer Nate Ensley said during the Board of County Commissioners meeting yesterday, August 23, that the study will also assist the county in establishing goals, determining appropriate levels of services, and providing gap analysis.
The selected proposal will serve as the county’s guide for the next five years for its stormwater management program.
Ensley said the chosen individual or company for the proposal would get an estimated budget between $350,000 and $425,000. The following are the minimum qualifications for the award:
Thurston County announced it reserves the right to reject any proposals and cancel the solicitation. It also has the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the procedure.
Interested parties may send sealed proposals to the Thurston County Public Works Office at 9605 Tilley Road S, Suite C in Olympia, Washington.
