Thurston County is seeking public input on which sectors should be allocated with $10 million worth of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, meant to be used for public health and economic issues caused by the pandemic.

“The Board of County Commissioners will take community input into consideration when making allocation decisions about what projects receive ARPA funding,” the county said in its press release.

According to Thurston County, some projects are already underway, with the county having received $56.4 million in ARPA aid.

The survey is currently ongoing until Friday, October 28. County officials are encouraging community members to participate.
