In an effort to help shore up a shortage in the region's blood supply network, Thurton County Emergency Management and Bloodworks Northwest are hosting a blood drive on Friday, April 4.
The event starts at 10 a.m. at the Thurston County Atrium Building, The Boardroom, 3000 Pacific Ave. SE, Olympia.
"Your efforts can directly help Thurston County residents with critical and life-threatening needs," Thurston County Emergency Management said in announcing the event.
