The Thurston County Auditor's Office is reminding voters to submit their ballots by tomorrow, August 1 before 8 p.m.
There are 29 ballot drop boxes distributed throughout the county (see map below), open 24 hours and each manned by two election staff members who empty it out regularly, according to the auditor's office. Click here for the voter's pamphlet and more voting information.
"You do not need a stamp to use a ballot drop box, " the county auditor said.

Community members may oversee the counting of the ballots at the County Auditor's live stream of the Ballot Processing Center.

There are some very important elections here, including the Port of Olympia, Thurston County Commission and city governments. VOTE! We are designed to be self governing but only if we VOTE!

Although the awful Regional Fire Authority was crushed, across the board people voted to support fire districts with levy lid lifts. Good to know our voting population paying close attention, hopefully our suspect city councils are also paying due attention.
