Eastside Street SE in Olympia to close for water line work

A short stretch of Eastside Street SE in Olympia is going to be closed for water line repair work.

One block of Eastside Street will be closed between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue.

The closure starts at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, and runs through 5 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, said the City of Olympia Public Works Department in a construction and traffic alert.

Water will also be shut off from midnight Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.

"Customers affected by the shut off have been notified," the Public Works Department said. "Please use caution in this area and follow all traffic control signs."
