Family-friendly movies to be played at the marina in August and September 

The Port of Olympia is hosting free, family-friendly outdoor fun with "Movies at the Marina" on Aug. 30 and Sept. 6. 

The movies will be played at Swantown Marina, alongside the Billy Frank Jr. Trail, south of the Marina Office, 1022 Marine Drive NE in Olympia.

Moviegoers can watch "Shrek" (PG) on screen on Aug/ 30, and "Jumanji" (PG) on Sept. 6. Movies start at 8 p.m. 

Each date features a free outdoor movie for all with no reservations needed, and concessions will be available for purchase.  

“This is the third year for the Port of Olympia outdoor movie experience.  We will try our best to deliver the best viewing experience,” stated the Port of Olympia in announcement about the events.

Attendees are requested to bring chairs and blankets, and dress in layers to be prepared for chilly conditions at the waterfront at night.
