Furniture company to hold exhibition of women artists on June 21

Seldens Designer Home Furnishings is inviting people to view the works of Women Painters of Washington (WPW), as part of the “Artistry of the Pacific Northwest” series, at the Seldens Olympia showroom on Saturday, June 21, from 1–5 p.m. 

The showroom is located at 220 Legion Way SE in Olympia.

The exhibit will highlight the work of 16 women artists from the organization and their contributions to the regional arts landscape. 

“This partnership celebrates WPW’s legacy of empowering women artists while giving attendees a chance to connect with the creators and enjoy a unique presentation of their work through curated window displays featuring photographic highlights of each artist,” a news release about the event states. 

The Artistry of the Pacific Northwest is getting a creative revamp in 2025, offering an immersive, inspiring day that champions local talent and community connection, the news release states. 

Small bites and refreshments will be served to visitors. More event details and artist bios are available on the event website.  

Coinciding with the Olympia Downtown Alliance’s LoveOly SummerFest, the event is set up for a more vibrant celebration. Seldens is also set to sponsor the summer festival’s Chalk Art Competition.
