Help OlyEcosystems Protect Young Trees at Cooper Crest!

In the winter following Cooper Crest’s devastating clearcut in 2022, the community came together in an incredible effort—hauling truckloads of weeds and planting 2,500 cedar saplings. To protect them from hungry deer, the team wrapped them in plastic mesh, giving them a fighting chance to grow.

Now, it’s time for these baby trees to “graduate” to larger metal cages, and the team needs your help! This is a hands-on opportunity to support local forest restoration and make a real impact on the landscape.

Join OlyEcosystem’s work party at Cooper Crest! No experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm. Dress warmly, and the tools, guidance, and snacks will be provided. Let’s work together to restore this land and protect the next generation of trees.
