Posted

The Olympia Family Theater (OFT) announced the production of "Wild Fire and the Bird Scouts" as its next next MainStage adventure.

Sara St.Clair will direct the production, which will run from March 14-30 at the Olympia Family Theater in downtown Olympia.

“The fledglings of Bird Scout Troop #7 are on their first ever annual migration when they find themselves lost in a forest that’s been ravaged by fire. On their quest to rejoin their flock, the scouts must overcome encounters with a desperate predator, an ancient oak tree, and Wildfire itself,” the theater’s press release on the production states.

The production narrates the way people of today ask the next generation to solve the problems that they have created.

“It’s about ingenuity and resilience in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles,” the theater’s press release states.

Wildfire and the Bird Scouts is about the way the environment is changing irrevocably and what people can do to aid it.

This “hilarious and educational show,” celebrates the power of friendship and bravery.

Online tickets are available, with a recommended price of $20.
